As an Association “We have Arrived”.  Saturday 22nd October at the National Show Centre was the venue for the first ever Akita Breed Seminar . Over 50 potential and experienced judges and Akita fanciers gathered to experience an excellent presentation on the The American and Inu type Akita given by Chris and Tina Thomas of Nosferatu Akitas. Thanks are due to the IKC officials who came along to help and guide and to John Walsh (Snr) for his very informative talk on judging etiquette. The afternoon hands on session was much appreciated by all who attended and we look forward to seeing the new aspiring judges in the ring soon.  We could not have achieved this success without our backroom help. The committee and officers of the  club would like to thank all who contributed their time and effort  in making  the day a great success  and  of course we should not forget “THE DOGS” who were the real stars. Watch this space for news of our next seminar.
